Chase Sui Wonders is an American actress, director, screenwriter, and model. She stars on the show Generation and in the film Bodies, Bodies, Bodies.

Her aunt is fashion designer Anna Sui.

Her father is a maternal descendant of the Fang clan of Tongcheng, Anhui, notable for many scholars and philosophers. Her ancestors include Fang Bao, a nobleman, courtier, orator, philosopher, poet, scholar, author, and government official in the service of the Qing dynasty; as well as Fang Gongcheng, a tutor at the imperial palace, and Fang Guancheng, Viceroy of Zhili.

Her paternal grandparents met while studying at the Sorbonne, Paris.

Chase’s paternal grandfather was Paul Sui (Chinese: 蕭惠光, pinyin: Xiāo Huìguāng, the son of Xiao Yulan (蕭毓蘭, Xiāo Yùlán), and of Qiu Daidi (丘帶娣)). Yulan was a Tahitian-Chinese businessperson.

Chase’s paternal grandmother was Grace Sui Fang (方光琪, Fāng Guāngqí, the daughter of Fang Chih (Fāng Zhì), and of Fang I-chih, born Masue Ueki). Chih was born in Tongcheng, Zongyang County, Anhwei Province, Qing Empire, and was a Chinese politician, provincial governor, diplomat, and author. He was a high-ranking Kuomintang official of the Republic of China. He was the son of Fang Rong (Chinese: 方蓉; pinyin: Fāng Róng, courtesy: 方镜卿), whose own father, Fang Lanfen, was a Qing dynasty author. Chih’s uncle was late Qing Empire Mandarin, scholar, author, and educator Fang Quan. Chase’s great-grandmother I-chih was Japanese.
